I've had Guitar Pro for ever but have never really used it. Also, the tab really doesn't like me doing the notation because I'm about 4 bars in and I've had to correct the tab for most of what I've transcribed. I figure, it's been a while since I've read music for anything, so it's a good exercise in both reading and transcribing. Part of it may be that I'm using the notation editor instead of the tab. For instance, I think about 2 bars of it are 1/8th note triplets, but I can't figure out how to note that in the software. ![]() And it's a maddening process! What is being generated has the right notes, but the timing and feel just aren't hitting home although I believe it's mostly right. I'm trying to learn a solo off an album, and, instead of just trying to remember it, I'm trying to get it down on paper too. I'm doing something I haven't really done before. ![]()
